Summary: The rooms are run down for the price I paid and the bed was squawking with every turn I made. The bath tab had molds. I have spent the night in a cheaper and much better hotel in Ruiru.

Summary: Decent value option in Ruiru. Cleanliness of rooms was acceptable for the price. Convenient location for business at Kenyatta University or JKUAT along the Thika Highway. Several shopping malls within a few minutes' drive.

Summary: Chose this hotel for a team facilitating a workshop at JKAUT. The hotel is reasonably close (15 mins by taxi) and not expensive. The restaurant and bar were more than OK - the gym and spa were friendly and provided a good basic service. Did not use the large outdoor pool because it was rather cool. The hotel has a bit of wear and tear and needs a bit of modernising. For instance the shower was one that you have to hand hold while crouching in the bath. The wife was fine most of the time. Occaissionally flaky in the rooms it could always be accessed from the main lobby area. The road to the hotel is unpaved but all signs were that it will soon become a tarmac road. Good choice for a business trip involving JKAUT. As the hotel is on the Thika road - it is about 30 mins away from Thika and associated tourist attractions. Traffic in any direction is prone to jams during peak hours. Would use again.
